Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus
Godteens! It’s time for the annual Easter Egg Hunt & Parade!
Please come to KHall at noon. We will set up the boundaries, carry the goodies upstairs, hide/scatter them, wait for the children to come (1:00), then watch or march in the parade, watch them gather eggs, help direct people to leave their shells in the baskets, then take down the boundaries, pick up trash, pack up the leftover egg shells, then get everything to Mrs. P’s car. We should be done by 2:00.
See you then!
Wednesday, we will meet in Kacz Hall at 7:00. I will have everything we need. You may bring along a bag of wrapped candy if you wish; it is helpful but not required.
First, we will match egg shells, then we will fill with our candy, trinkets, and goodies. When we are finished, we will tuck them away, clean up after ourselves, and go home.
We should be done by 8:30.
Instructions for Saturday’s Easter Egg Hunt will be posted Wednesday night (to avoid confusion).

Sister Mary Agnes contacted me to let me know that the CKs are having a discernment retreat for young women March 7-9. They are in need of several high school aged women who would be able to help the Sisters cook for the retreatants on Saturday March 8, from 9 a.m. til 2 p.m. She said it is not necessary for the volunteers to be there during all of those hours, but that one could come for a couple of hours here or there, as her schedule permits.
Please contact Sister for details at 402 four seven seven 5232.
If you’d like to contact Sister via e-mail, check the FB page for further details.

Parents’ Note: I read the USCCB review for this movie and it seemed a bit extreme. I would compare this movie to any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I have seen it and I feel that it is appropriate for teenagers. Let me know if you have questions or concerns.
Students: Justin and Amy J. are putting together an Engaged Encounter event on Sunday, Nov 17 at St. Teresa’s and we need several (5-7) high school students willing to supervise all our children at the school gym for the afternoon – 2 PM until 6 PM. If they don’t need service hours they would be paid $25 and we’d feed them supper too (fried chicken or pizza or something). Would you mind asking your groups and if anyone is interested please put me in touch with them this week?
Come to the Potter home (e-mail or call for address) at 7:00 p.m. on October 16th for a fall party and bonfire! I will provide a light meal of hot dogs and chips. We will have a fire in the back yard and I will have the makings for S’Mores.
I bought four HUGE straw bales for stuffing; I want each class to create a scarecrow! I will provide the odds & ends (glue gun, paint, buttons, pillowcases for the head, yarn, “skeleton”, etc.) but would like the students to come up with outfits for their scarecrows. You could ask your parents for old clothing, or visit Goodwill (99-cent clothes this weekend) or our own thrift store for scarecrow-like clothing. 1000 bonus points for creativity!
Dress according to the weather, as we will be outdoors.
Check with your leaders for details, or call/e-mail Aubrey at 489-3599 and apotter3 AT neb DOT rr DOT com
Note to parents: Jeremy and I can provide the “skeletons” for the scarecrows, but if a parent has a particular talent (or extra wood) for putting these T-shaped “skeletons” together, please let me know. If you have odds & ends (see above) to send with your students, that’s fine too. I have plenty here but we can always use extra.
