Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus
I’ll have hot dogs, chips, apples, cookies, and snacks for you. There will be a fire with marshmallows for roasting and for S’more making. There will be plenty of social time.
DRESS WARMLY: we will spend most of the evening outdoors!
Saint Thérèse, pray for us! Her little way: 2 Corinthians 12:10
You have home meetings tonight. If you have not yet chipped in $30 for our group’s expenses, please do so if you are able. You can bring a check (to St. Teresa) to your leaders, no more than $60 per family, and although it is good for us to have it soon, there is no deadline!
Please see the post below and remember to come paint faces at the parish picnic! This is important!
Every year, we paint children’s faces at the parish picnic. This year it will be October 5th. The picnic is from 4-7 p.m. We paint faces from 4:30 to 6:30. I’d like to have at least two students at the table for half-hour shifts.
I’ll set up the table, provide the paint and supplies. All you need to do is show up and paint little suns, stars, rainbows, and flowers (and maybe some footballs and big Ns) on kids’ faces. No problem!
We need to fill these slots:
4:30 – 5:00
5:00 – 5:30
5:30 – 6:00
6:00 – 6:30
You can sign up by talking to your leaders, or by leaving a comment here, or on the FB event page.
Let’s do it!
Wednesday, September 10th is the Marian Mass. It is held at Waverly, at the Marian Sisters motherhouse. The Fatima Play begins at 5:45 p.m. The Mass begins at 7:00. An international rosary will follow the Mass.
After the rosary, please come back up to the field (where Mass was) to fold, stack, and load chairs!
There is an article in the Register HERE.
See you soon!
Madness, Frenzy, Insanity, Social, whatever. I’ll have copious amounts of ice cream for you to consume outside of the school–more toward the south end of the blacktop–on Wednesday September 3rd at 7 p.m. Plan on using the forms that will be there to register at that time (the diocese wants to know exactly how many teenagers call our parish home). We ask a $30 donation per student but no more than $60 per family. If your parents write a check, they should make it out to St. Teresa Parish.
This includes freshmen. Your leaders are Brian and Emily P! (No full names on public websites)
We intend to wind up at 8:30. You may bring footballs, frisbees, etc., if you wish.
Call Aubrey P with questions.
See you SOON!
