Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus
The Easter Egg Hunt and Bike Parade is coming up! This is Youth JAM’s act of service to the parish. Please keep Saturday April 11th clear in the afternoon so that you may help with this project! We will need students to come to Kaczmarek hall at NOON to set up the “hunting grounds.” By 1:00 we will start the Bike Parade. After the Bike parade is the Easter Egg Hunt. This usually goes very quickly. We’ll clean up and then you may go home.
We will need people to choose from the following special assignments:
::Two people will carry the Easter cross and lead the parade.
::One person will be the Easter Bunny.
::One person will be the Easter Bunny’s helper.
You may leave a message to sign up for one of these things or you may contact your leaders. First come, first served!
It is important that you be on time to help with the set up! We will need as many students as possible. Please let your leaders know in advance if you will be unable to attend!
To prepare for the EE Hunt and Bike Parade, we will fill the plastic shells with Easter Candy and treats. We will do this on Wednesday, April 8th at 7:00 p.m. in Kaczmarek Hall. Father Rodriguez should be available for confession if there are any who wish to receive this sacrament. Be there or be square!
If you have a question, you may leave a message here, ask your leaders, or call Aubrey P.
See you SOON!

Students! It is important to remember that you are responsible for helping collect money for the Matt Talbot Kitchen on Super Bowl Sunday (Souper Bowl) which is February first. It takes just a short time after mass. Each class is assigned a mass at which they will collect. Meet your leaders in the vestibule after communion for instructions.
Here are your assigned masses:
Saturday, 4:00 p.m.: Freshmen
Sunday, 8:00 a.m.: Seniors
Sunday, 10:00 a.m.: Sophomores
Sunday, Noon: Juniors
Contact your leaders with questions or leave a comment here.
Thanks for the turn out, everyone! 20 people came to play Laser Tag last night.
I’m so sorry that I don’t have pictures. The pictures that I took last night (and a series of pictures that I took this morning) disappeared when I changed the settings on my camera. If I do find them, I’ll post them!
UPCOMING: SOUPER BOWL COLLECTION!!
What’s up for the Large Group Event on the 14th?
Who: Youth JAM Members
What: Play Laser Tag
When: Wednesday, January 14th at 7:00 p.m. We will be finished at 8:20.
Where: Laser Quest: 6802 P Street, 465-5522
Cost: $15.00 for 2 games; the games are exclusive to Youth JAM
Students: You MUST RSVP to your leaders. If we do not have enough people to fill up the games, we are wasting money. If I know ahead of time that there will be fewer people than I anticipate, I can cancel one of the games or make it non-exclusive which will save us money! You are welcome to come even if you have not RSVPed and if there is room, you may play without a reservation. 🙂
Here’s a reminder about the feast of the Immaculate Conception:
Monday, December 8th is a Holy Day of Obligation. [St. Teresa] will have a Sunday 5:30 p.m. vigil Mass, and Monday 6:30 & 8:15 a.m. & 6:30 p.m. Masses. the Sunday 5:30 p.m. Mass will be the anticipated Mass for Monday. Attending one evening Mass on Sunday will not suffice to fulfill the obligation for both the Holy Day and Sunday. There must be attendance at two distinct Masses.
